This inspriring and non-traditional pageant was held on October 24 at the Crowne Plaza in Knoxville.
Carly Pearson, a former national park firefighter, is Ms. Wheelchair Tennessee 2016. She is also the subject of Nolpix Media’s documentary, The Climb. (Nolpix Media owns Knoxzine.) Pearson now qualifies to enter the Ms. Wheelchair America pageant next summer.
The first runner up is Cyndi Mattoon Leach, and the second runner up is Johnna Finchum.
Liberty Barnum is Junior Miss Wheelchair.
